Kerala State Development Corporation for Christian Converts and the Recommended Communities (KSDC for CC & RC) is a government organization established in 1980, dedicated to the economic, social, and cultural advancement of individuals who have converted from Scheduled Castes to Christianity and those recommended for inclusion in Scheduled Castes and comes under the Backward Classes Development Department headed by the Minister of welfare of SC/ST, Backward classes and Devasam and parlimentry affairs K. Radhakrishnan . With its headquarters located at Nagampadam in Kottayam, The corporation operates regional offices in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, and Kozhikode, aiming to extend its services to a wider population.

To ensure accessibility to its services, the Corporation has set up Service/Collection Centers in various locations. These centers, operational for two days each month, facilitate loan repayment and application submission for beneficiaries. They are strategically located at Nilambur under the Kozhikode Regional Office, Peerumedu, Muvattupuzha, Ranni, and Kumbanad under the Kottayam Regional Office, and Kottarakkara and Neyyattinkara under the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Office.

In 2023 the corporation has established a sub-office at the Mavelikkara Mini Civil Station in Alappuzha district. This sub-office caters to constituents in Mavelikkara and nearby areas, including Chengannur, Haripad, Pandalam, Kayamkulam, Charummood, Karthikappally,Thiruvalla, Ambalappuzha, Kuttanad, Kozhencherry, Konni, Ranni and Adoor, providing them with easier access to the Corporation's services.

  • The amount will be paid in 2 instalments. The installments are granted on the basis of the estimate.

  • The applicant should not posses any land or house.
  • Minimum 3 cents of land should be purchased.
  • The land purchase should be mortgaged to the Corporation
  • The construction of the house should be completed within the stipulated time.

  • Application should be in the name of the bride.
  • The loan amount will be determined on the basis of valuation certificate / net salary .
  • If the marriage certificate is not produced within 60 days after the date of marriage. The loan will be rescheduled at a higher rate of interest.

  • Loan is  for starting a new venture
  • Loan will be allotted based on the detailed project report submitted.
  • The loan amount will be determined on the basis of valuation certificate / net salary.

  • Maximum loan amount of Rs.5 lakh is allowed to students (90% of the course fee) for pursuing professional degree / PG courses conducted by recognized universities in India.
  • Loans are provided for pursuing Degree / PG courses conducted by recognized Universities within Kerala.
  • The loan amount will be determined on the basis of valuation certificate / net salary.
Farm Land Loan 18-55 ₹4,00,000 5.5% has to be repaid in 96 installments. First repayment falls due after the completion of ten months
  • The loan will be provided to purchase land suitable for cultivation, consisting of at least 20 cents of dry land or at least 1 acre of wet land

  • Loan will be provided to those who have a professional degree or diploma to start a business
  • Loan will be allotted based on the detailed project report submitted.
Laptop Loan for Students 18-45 ₹50,000 6% 24 months
  • This loan is for  students to buy a laptop for educational purposes.
  • In the event that the student is under the age of 18, parental submission of the application is required
Agriculture loan 18-55 ₹50,000 4% The loan must be repaid in full at once after one year.
  • Loan is provided to farmers for cultivating a minimum of 50 cents of land on their own property or cultivating 1 acre of leased land, subject to the various agricultural norms applicable to the farmer. The loan amount, totaling

  • This loan is available to employees of Kerala Government / Public Sector Institutions for various purposes.
  • A maximum of ₹3.50 lakhs can be availed with a salary certificate, and amounts exceeding ₹3.5 lakhs require property security of 3 cents or an official guarantee from someone else.

  • Loan for Vehicle for Kerala Government Public Sector Institutions Employees.
  • The vehicle must be hypothecated in the name of the corporation.
  • 80% of the vehicle's price will be provided as a loan
Higher Income Housing Loan 18-55 ₹10,00,000 7% 144 months
  • This is a home loan for high income earners.
  • There should be at least  5 cents of property in possession of the applicant .
  • The amount will be given in 2 instalments and the instalments will be allotted based on the stage certificate.
Higher Income Business Loan 18-45 ₹10,00,000 11% 60 months
  • Loans are given to entrepreneurs aiming to scale up their current ventures.
  • Applicants must be individuals filing income tax returns.
  • Loan will be allotted based on the detailed project report submitted.
Higher Income Personal Loan 20-50 ₹10,00,000 10% 60 months
  • This loan is available to individuals with higher income  for various purposes.
  • A maximum of ₹3.50 lakhs can be availed with a salary certificate, and amounts exceeding ₹3.5 lakhs require property security of 3 cents or an official guarantee from someone else.

Overview During The Past Few Years[edit]

  • Kerala State Development Corporation for Christian Converts and the Recommended Communities (KSDC for CC & RC) received ₹5 crore in capital assistance from the government in the financial year 2021-22, followed by ₹3.5 crore in 2022-23, and a provision of ₹6 crore in the Budget Estimates for 2023-24.
  • In the 2022-23      FY, the corporation collected Rs. ₹11.63 crore and disbursed ₹10.33 crore. During this period, the corporation welcomed 402 new beneficiaries while closing 348 beneficiaries.
  • In the 2023-24 FY, collections increased to ₹12.62 crore, with disbursements rising to ₹17.52 crore. the number of new beneficiaries increased to 574 ,while 440 beneficiaries were closed during this period. This disbursement marks the highest amount of loans provided by the corporation in its 44 years of history.
  • The Corporation achieved Net profits of ₹25.95 lakhs in FY 2020-21, ₹182.39 lakhs in FY 2021-22, and ₹300.63 lakhs in FY 2022-23, marking significant growth since its establishment in 1980.
  • The government approved a one-time settlement scheme to waive interest and penalty on loans expired by March 31, 2006, and outstanding as of March 2023. Additionally, a scheme to settle loans of deceased beneficiaries was initiated.
  • Efforts to enhance loan management and accountability include implementing Loan Management & Accounting software and e-governance implementation, with 40% of repayments conducted online.
  • A sub-office was established at the Mavelikkara Mini Civil Station in Alappuzha district on 9-1-2023.
  • In 2023 Job-oriented training with stipends was provided to 75 students from the targeted community
